The new MEX interface (mexSLOAD) can be used to read all data formats
supported by BioSig4C++.

This functionality seems redundant to Biosig4OctMat, however it has
significant advantages:
(1) the HL7aECG/FDA-XML data format is supported only by BioSig4C++
(2) The supported data formats (ca. 15) can be read much faster.

The mex-interface has been tested with Octave2.9.
